…and I love it. It definitely saves me several trips to the microwave per cup of coffee. The coffee does become more lukewarm eventually, but I think there’s a reason the plate isn’t made to get hotter.
For one, the way it is now, it won’t burn you if you accidentally touch it. You can’t keep your hand on it or anything, but it’s not DANGEROUS at all. For another thing, once your coffee gets low, the plate WILL keep it hot. If it was any hotter, your last inch or so of coffee would become scalding-hot and evaporate too fast. (If you leave it low for a little while, the coffee starts to get a film on top from the moisture evaporating out of it.)

When I leave the window by my desk open, a full cup of coffee on the plate will cool off noticeably faster than if the window is closed. So if you have a problem with this warmer not keeping your coffee hot, it may be too cool (or have too much airflow) in your room.

In short, this thing is great for what it is, and IMO does exactly what it’s supposed to.
